Last Friday, Water coming out of 4 mile half to 3/4 way across bay was Chocolate. Water in Pass was average on bay side to excellent at mouth of pass on gulf side.
Water was pretty bad all the way to the state camp. Hell hole/Hog bayou area was not much better. Remember, fresh water is lighter in weight than saltwater. So U may find some marginal water with salty on the bottom.. It will take alot of water exchange to get water to clear up.. Shrimping season in 10-12 days will NOT Help either.
