Hey simple peddler, your squash are likely rotting due to calcium deficiency. You can add lime in your local home improvement store and might find a calcium spray at a feed and seed store like Chastant's here in Lafayette.
For everyone, the best thing I ever did was to send a soil sample in to LSU Ag center and follow their recommendations for what to add to your soil. When your soil is right for the specific plant you are growing, it is Ike magic! Good harvesting! Jim Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
