Based on your price range I would look in the 700-800 range. You can get a puppy from a sire and dam with a heavy titled pedigree for that price.

Check those two links I posted. There are a lot of quality dogs on there and the risk of puppy mill or back yard type breeding is slim to none. For that price you should have health certificates on hips, eyes and elbows. Don't limit yourself geographically, good breeders will work out delivery logistics.
