I used Shimano for years and love the Green Curado's and White Chronarch's but the ones that the put out now are not the same. I've gone to 13's. The inceptions are 120$ and bullet proof. I've tortured the 3 I have and they keep ticking. They are 8:1 ratio and make working a topwater bait a breeze. I still have a bunch of Curado's and Chronarch's but after using the 13's its hard to go back to them.

I know several guides who use these reels daily and now most are parts of reefs lol Heard they are real light and smooth just not saltwater ready after a year of fishing or less Most went back to Shimano and few are now trying the Lews

I heard enough about the new Shimanos and decided to try Lews for trout fishing. Very happy with my decision. Also had a chance to buy a Shimano Core for cheap and it's a dream. Still have my old Curados for snapper and bulls and sight fishing redfish with braid.
