To be clear, I'm not trying any fancy maneuvers with the remote. I have the trolling motor. I simply want it to operate it in its very basic function - forward, speed control and turn - with the remote and have it operate from the stern.

I know full well it will take some getting used to and will not perform as well as it does from the bow.
