First time in a boat at the jetties

mighty mites are great anchors! wish I had all ive lost back. several just at jetties. lost one this year n west cove that came untied. I now have a rubber coated 3 feet chain attached with small shackles to rope and anchor which added another $35 to it. Wasn't too bad when they were $29.99 but now they are $80-$100! When anchoring at jetties tie a separate rope on the hook side. When u pull it up use this rope to do it so hook sides comes up first. I have not lost one doing this. I have lost them by not being able to straighten hooks using boat motor to pull up. Use the extra rope. It Works!
