Followup: I received the Rig Rite bracket and mounted my new Humminbird transducer to it.
I haven't put it in the water yet, but the Rig Rite mount is SOLID. It uses plastic spacers to make it able to fit any transducer you throw at it. The actual bracket is metal, and like I said, SOLID.
If you need a new trolling motor transducer bracket mount, this is it.
* I did have to cut and shave one of the spacers down with a hacksaw and some 60-grit sandpaper, but was able to get a perfect fit. It was quick and easy.
