Followup:
I used this trolling motor transducer for a day on the water. Nothing to complain about; it functioned as it should.
I also didn't have to keep re-adjusting the angle of my transducer. The fact that you can sand/ grind the supplied spacers down to your requirements is a plus, allowing you to get the perfect fit for your specific transducer.
