Women need and deserve as much education as men. That in itself may sound sexist, but it's not intended to.
Some real life observations:
1) Engineering and geological females in the oilfield, particularly on offshore drilling rigs, often got too much attention/flirting. In a fairly high percentage, I recall discrimination issues and financial settlements.

2) Divorce rates of newly graduating RN Nurses used to be at about 75% in North Georgia. My 2nd Ex also followed that trend. I used to think RN's rocked!
Still, it's a changing world and today, both men and women need to be educated, and work. The religious aspects vary, depending on upbringing and needs.
