Brats!
Yesterday I put some brats in hot tub of beer and onions on the Keg. After about an hour in there I grilled them a little and it was go time. After about an hour covered to stem through I removed the foil and let 'em go a little longer. Meanwhile I had some dough leftover from homemade rolls I made a few days earlier and used it to make homemade buns. I haphazardly formed them and really didn't even do that well. But they came out fine. Not great looking but they smelled fantastic baking and tasted great. I sliced them on the top for top loading. One loaded with brat, German mustard and onions and the other with sauerkraut and German mustard. The buns were perfect size and held everything just right. Oh, and some homemade pickles on the side. Sooooo...... good!!!!! I gave them a few minutes on the grate to get just a slight char but must have not taken a picture. |
