I have caught trout in almost completely fresh water, but it does not make for a good strategy or pattern. Just happen to find em while we were looking for reds.

The trout will come in to take advantage of the bait migrating out of the marsh, you just will not see them in large numbers.

Doesnt look like we will have the luxury of a good trout bite in the cove and weeks bay this year. I hope things turn around.
