need heavy duty torque wrench

Not sure where to post this so thought I'd try here. I'm getting ready to install a weight distributing hitch on my travel trailer and I need to use a heavy duty torque wrench to install the clamps on the trailer tongue. It needs to measure up to 380 ft. lbs. The one I have goes up to 250 ft. lbs. so it's not big enough. I called some rental stores here in Lafayette with no luck.

Wow..... are you sure it is 380 ft lbs? And not 380 in. lbs.


380 Ft lbs is very very high.


I don't remember..... but putting that much torque on a bolt may require a special grade of bolt.
