I don't see how his criminal history is relevant here.

He paid for the seat and was on the plane when they decided some airline employees deserved his seat. Stupid move by United this will cost them millions.

Help me understand why airlines overbook flights. Thank God sporting events have better technology than airlines. Imagine sitting down at say an Lsu game and being told I'm sorry you paid $75 for this seat we also sold it to someone else so get up or we will beat the hell out of you.
