I guess if we still had cold winters it would help control it a bit more. Eventually, this is going to be a big problem out there. What used to be wide, pretty canals are being reduced to a narrow trail through ugly banks of hyacinth.

It will eventually, They've blocked canals to alleviate some of the issue. They have also talked in the passed about stopping the recreational fishing. So, It just might effect you. Take pics, and send them to miami office. They were suppose to up the patrols in there this year from the letter I received.
