Default Vermilion reds part 3

Late start early finish. Bay was like a sheet of glass. Fished 45 minutes. 4 yr old was hot but her 20$ zebco did all the damage.

Very nice, we fished VB bay today and limited on gaftop and hardheads. Caught a few rat reds on live pogie. Crew in another boat that followed us caught two big drum on cracked crab at the mouth of four mile cut . Water looked bad everywhere we went, beats working though.

Okay, I'll bite. Where is the "Gavel"? Just want to see where it is in relation to where we fished.

Used a popping cork and tipped plastic with shrimp. Fished on the north banks of MI, about the mid point of the island. West of Bird Island Bayou.

The Gavel is a mysterious spot that we have named. East of Bird Island. Just hammered the fish there one day. Passed that little point for years and tried it last year for the first time, verdict was = we caught reds there.

My bad, I thought you were outside fishing spex, guess you were talking reds.
