I'd head south to washout area. Fish any reefs, current, or drop offs that you know of in that area. Birds may work there as well. Live bait is not a must but can increase your odds of catching if you can get it. Heberts and spicers has them but run out early. The early bite is best so don't waste your trying to secure live bait and miss the bite. Just my two cents from a novice at best fisherman.
