That's what she said . 80 mph in a Ranger? Only while it's on the trailer behind my truck on the interstate as I race to be first at the wiers on a Saturday morning. The boat will run 73-74 LIGHT, 70-71 loaded with 3 guys, 48 gallons of fuel, ice, livewells, and WAY too much tackle. The jackplate is a 10 inch Bob's Hydraulic. Between the boats built-in set back and the jack plate, the motor sits more then 2 feet behind the drain plug while running. Ranger Z20 and Z21 need the extra help to get enough bow lift to run. Thanks for the compliments. FWIW, do whatever it takes to get yourself a Humminbird SI unit. It will change the way you fish, in a good way.
