they could have fished live bait if they wanted just like the live bait fishermen could have thrown plastics.

some are scared to fish against the waders ,Some are scared to fish against live bait. If ya scared, Say ya scared . Don't go makin rules that arent for everybodys benifit.
If ya want to limit it to 5 fish stringer or 2 fish stringer then that hampers no one. But to limit how people fish just because you don't like to compete against it is not fair to all.

1st you would have to make 2 pots waders and boats..Then one pot gets short which would be the wader pot.... Don’t think many want to jump in water at 40Degrees......

We went this rout already ..... If yall want to have a wading tourney... Advertise it as that..... But you can’t have both for the same money..

a tournament is about SKILL. How much skill does it take to soak live bait???NONE...

Wade fishing and boat fishing with artificial take atleast some Skill.

Wade vs Boat..

You can’t have a fair equal tournament and pay money to both..... You have to pick one pot or the other

If you want a wading tournament .... Call it a wadding tournament...that’s fine....

Don’t give option for a boat!

All tournaments are out of boats! Bass Masters and Redfish cup the two biggest in the world of fishing..... and Artificial only... keep everyone on the same ground and level..Only skills prevail.....

Its not that one is scared to do the other ......... You need a level ground

if you have 2 seperate pots, you will have those that will say they are wading, go catch a 25 pound stringer, then come to the weigh in and say they boat fished...already thought that thru aswell

I think your wrong that live bait fishing takes no skill. You still have to find the fish you still have to hook and land the fish.
Just because a croaker soaker goes out on a body of water and cast his line in the water doesn't mean they will catch fish.
