Saw a huge eagle today on I49 about 50 miles south of Shreveport around mile marker 150 on the south bound side. He was eating a dead animal on the side of the road. I have seen them in Toledo Bend and saw one off of the Lake Ponchatrain bridge once. They are starting to spread out in Louisiana pretty good apparently.

Yeah. They are all over the state now. The atchafalaya basin has a large population. And I always see them down hwy 90 towards Houma also.
