i tried fireline once.. Its more expensive and it SUCKSSS!! Don't ever get it! Its real hard, doesn't cast worth a crap, and really rough on the rod eyes. It is probably the stiffest of the braids. I can't see how anyone can like that stuff. Might as well just spool on some wire.

My plan is to hook a 9lber first thing and let it run for a bit then reel it in, that'll get the line tight on the spool!!!
