Anyone know where you can get one? Went to Academy today, but nothing.
My Dad has one that he uses in Colorado for prairie dog hunting. A very fast, flat, and accurate cartridge out to 800+ yards. My longest shot was 400 yards with my Dads zero, his is around 600, both were prairie dogs. Over all versatility is not its strong point - I do not think think that I would use it for anything other than varmits. Have tried factory ammo but this particular rifle prefers specific combinations from handloads. There are some good deals on the gun broker sites, and I am getting set to order mine from E.R Shaw - a custom gun maker that starts at around $650.
