Ungrateful SOB!

I can't figure out how these dogs know what is going on. As long as their is a fight, they are in it. Once the hog is subdued, then you notice the injuries. And while I am stiching or stapeling, they just lay there and don't move. Then they get up and lick you to death like I did something special. Hell, i should be licking them! We do our best to keep them safe, but they are working dogs and things happen. The little Jags are so fast, they usually are the last to get cut. The catch dogs have gear on and still get hit every so often. I like cur dogs in general, but they are somewhat slow in CQB (close quarters battle) lol, but have better range than the Jags. If I was younger, I would run Cur/Plott hound cross - but since I am getting older and fatter, I like my little Jags to take it nice and easy!
