Then it sounds like you are in the brand of vehicle you have chosen to drive.
You'll never buy a Dodge then, I heard that Ford will be putting the Cummins engine in their trucks within the next few years. Ford owns Cummins...

Ford owns 25% of Cummins.
But Ford is building their own diesel for 2011.
It is called the Scorpion.
I saw the specs on it a few months ago.
Turbo is on the top of the engine, intakes are where the exhaust ports are now.
Exhaust ports are on top of the heads.
It uses urea(chickensh!!t) injected into the fuel burn chambers to make it burn
cleaner.
I heard that GM is going to have to use urea also.
The Cummins is clean burning enough to not have to use urea.

I had a spark plug blow out of my 2002 F150 on top the I-210 bridge. If your friend is in the Sulphur area also and is looking for a place to get it fixed, I had mine repaired at Carrol's. I'm on my third F150, still have two, and loved them all with the exception of this very expensive design issue that I also was not aware of until this past spring. The duration it took Ford to correct the thread issue is one thing, but can you believe a design on a pick-up that requires the engine to be removed to get the head off? Another word of warning: Don't wash your engine if you have an F150 with the coil-on-plug design. Water will get in the tubes that go to the spark plugs, boil up into the coil boots, and then run like hell until you pull them all off and dry or replace them.
