I never paid for a ticket in Cameron Parish either.

But I have been told over the P.A. to get out of the car and put my hands on the hood.
That was a funny story, my wife was scared to death. It was her first trip down there.

She laughs about it now...

We left the Fiesta headed to Holly Beach. I was almost out of town when I saw a line of cars heading East. I figured they was all getting off the ferry and didn't want to miss it, so I stepped on the gas.
Next thing I know, one of Cameron's finest has his lights on me. I pulled over and he hollered to get out of the car and put my hands on the hood. I can't hear too good, so I asked my wife what he said. She repeated it to me with some fear in her eyes. She thought I was going to the slammer.
I got out and it was a guy I went to school with. He didn't recognize the car, it was her first time to drive down there in it. He said he clocked me speeding thru town and when he pulled out and put the lights on me, I took off. I didn't see the lights, all I saw was the cars from the ferry passing by.
We missed the ferry so I went back to the Fiesta and drank a few beers until the ferry came back.
No ticket.

The good old Fiesta club. Had some good times in there during the Fur Festival.

I paid many electric bills for that place.
I have worked the bar during the Fur Festival too.
I had a Fiesta Lounge jacket that the owner gave me to wear during that weekend. I gave it back to her after Rita. She lost everything. I figured it was a nice token for her to have.

We had this 'genious' in Zachary,La. that passed the speed van and happened to see the camera flash so he turns around , goes back to the van, gets out of his truck with a tire iron and proceeds to beat the crap out of the van while it's snapping 'glamour-shots' of this dude. Needless to say he was apprehended a short time later. I got to admitt I was Peooode the first time I got one in the mail , 41MPH in a 35 zone. It didn't come certified mail (standerd bulk mail) so I told the wife to chunk it in File 13. After her telling me how I would go to prison for that, I conceded and sent the $50 in....P.S. the monkey mask don't work, it had a beautiful close-up of my license plate...

I don't think the police have anything to do with the speed vans. From what I have heard, the only thing that can happen to you if you don't pay the "ticket" is that it goes on your credit as an unpaid bill. Again, this is just what I've heard, I don't know for sure.

Tape up your lisense plate and your vin number on the dash. And put on a mask and drive by with your buddy's butt in the windshield.

Or just find another vehicle like yours and steal the lisense plate. then put it on and do that minus the tape thing.

From what I understand in Cali too many people were complaining and saying they let someone borrow their car that day.Now the camera takes two pics, one of the driver and one of the plate!
