It's not going to be officially published. By law if you are 1 mph over you can get a ticket.

Some years ago I went before the judge on a traffic violation. He ask me if I had any prior violations on my record. I told him I had a speeding ticket in Golden Meadow. He looked over the top of his glasses and started grinning and said, "Don't worry about that one ,we don't even acknowledge those". Everybody in the courtroom busted out laughing...

When they first started enforcing the toll on the new Leeville Bridge, I stopped at Griffins in Leeville to get my 'Geaux Pass'. Mr. Griffin said "I'm kinda new at does Geaux Passes but come in my office". After fumbleing on the computer for about 10 minutes he issued my toll pass. A month later,I got a violation for crossing the bridge without a pass. Now do I take a day off of work and drive 140 miles to go fight the ticket or do I just send them the $70. It was a no-brainer, i sent them a check.

That email is a hoax. 900,000 tickets? We only have about 3.5 million people in the state.

True . That would equate to 1 ticket for every 3.3 people in the state. Considering only 80% of pop. has drivers lisc. ,the numbers would be greater. Myth busted

Actually, I'd be surprised if 50% have driver's licenses, since a large percentage of the population is under 16 years old.

Man, only 3.3M people in the state? Harris County alone has more people than that.

Not likely, I'd be willing to bet that 30%+ of the population in Houston is illegal.

You shouldn't have paid it.......many hundreds of folk got that ticket including me......all it took was a phone call. I told em I stopped and paid it and they said OK......sent me a letter saying it was waved......I think they counted on folks just paying and not calling
