The last one is the ditch. There was about a foot and half of water I had to crawl through in my truck to take that pic. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to get more. It was rediculous when Rita hit us. There was water going over the road in the subdivision.

Yeah I'm sure your ditch crawling was much worse than all of a Calcasieu and Cameron Parish losing most of what they own.

ive got about 3.5 inches here by opelousas. the ground has soaked most of it up. Anybody know how much grand chenier has gotten? im hoping its got enough to fill up my duck holes for next weekend.

Looking at the radar during the day looks like that area got several inches of rain.

I'm at 4.5 inch at my house in Jennings....most of the coast will get 8 inch by tomorrow

Dad lives in Geismar and said his gauge holds 5" and was overflowing yesterday afternoon. It was back to 1.5" by sundown yesterday.

I have had 6.5" total here at the house, and it was raining some more about an hour ago.

Out side today.....the ground hardly looked like it had rained.

I emptied 4" Saturday morning. My wife emptied it before dark last night and said it read almost 7". The ground is wet here but ain't much water standing.
