If you can make it to marsh island you can tear up the reds....I usually fish oyster lake, its down the bird island bayou canal past the last big weir. This time of the year you can go in there and catch all the reds and flounder you want.

The bay has to be slick like a baby's behind for me to be able to make it to marsh island. I just have a 16' alumicraft, it doesn't take chop very well.

Did you cut one of those reds stomachs? I bet they were monching on some swimp!
Cleaned fish today and most were full of shrimp others had shad, 3-4". Cat didn't mind it at all. All she cared about was the sushi bar was open and the takens was fresh even though it had bones in it!

Still can't believe we stayed out there yesterday after the wind tried to blow us off the water. Fish junkies we are!

Man I would be scared pulling my boat in this much less putting it in the water. I can barely keep my truck on the road.

Now that makes it an even better report! Including an autopsy and stomach contents of the catch with picture proof oughta be mandatory on SC.com...

Can't wait to get out and find some birds...
