I've caught trout several time in the fall at tee butte. Most people don't go because the trout are in the bay as well. You won't see schools like you will in the bay,but you can catch some bigger one out there.

I been thinking about the same thing. I know most of the time there is not near as much traffic on the outside. Just kinda hard to pass up the ones that are right there in the bay. Of course the water is like pooh, right now,it does seem to be getting better though. Just like to ride out there and see how far you hafta go to get to some good trout green water.

we are thinking about going hit it tomorrow depending on the satellite picture today

also got word in yesterday someone caught a 7lber sometime within the last two weeks i believe. They fished all day only ended up with six trout. But i'd say it was still worth the trip lol
