well I stand corrected, I guess I should have checked before speaking

last time I looked there was very little if any discount to buying in volume spools. it appears you do get a decent savings now. that's good to see

I think chris waits on them deals. Every now and then they drop the price for a week or so.
If you buy them in the store I think you right but Walmart online is pretty cheap sometimes.

Braid I will change every year on rods I use alot. Mono I will change every 3-4th trip.

Well, brand new CHEAP fishing line is better than very old EXPENSIVE fishing line. There's a scientific law about that fact somewhere....
