i have never fished there but been wanting to go how to you get to this place and where is do you launch a boat is this place easy to run in a bigger bass boat

Martin? Behind airport basically. Yes ur boat would be perfect there. Punch lilies for bass and sacs just gotta figure em out

I've never fished lake martin. Can you fish from the bank and if so can you get to any decent spots to catch? me and my son are itching to catch. Hoping to go today

Plenty of levee to bank fish from, also the canal on the other side of the lake is full of little catfish.

Well y'all done gave me the itch, cleaned up the boat strung up some poles i believe ill have to give lake martin a shot. Ive never fished it does it cost to launch?

Well my itch was scratched, and by scratched i mean i didn't catch any fish. I don't feel to bad though because it doesn't seem like anyone did any good plus it was some nice weather to be out on the water.

It's a tough place to fish but it don't get much prettier. I like to be out there on a Friday evening in the Spring with the Cajun baseball game on the radio and it doesn't matter if you are catching or not.
