funny you two think im a kid. ask your lover w why he has a kid on his ignore list? im not trying to start crap like he does. when people who have no idea about boats and water read this and think they can run 5 footers in a 20foot bay boat then they go out and capsize and go missing thats the problem. yeah you can take any boat offshore as long as its calm and you know the weather. but a lot of people just dont know and dont have the experience of being in a bad situation.

5'ers are not bad, if they are far apart.
3'er can kick you arse if they are close enuff for your bow to fall in the trough before the next one hits you. Wave distance has a lot to do with a ride.

The ship channel in the jetty's has big rollers, it all depends on the tides and winds.

Fished tuna out of a 24ft champ in 1200 ft of water in 3 to 4 ft rollers....I'm just saying my boat can handle 5ft waves if need be...I don't even want to fish in 3ft....

Edwards....how big were those swells we hit in cocodrie??? I know when we hit the bottom all you saw was water in front and back...and boat disappeared

I know I was just messin...the MRGO gets crazy rollers in it...I was in a 18 foot rolled gunnel nitro bay boat once in huge rollers and the walls were buckling and shaking and ****... Didn't help my big *** was in it but I was thankful to make it back that day.

Also back to subject nautical star is economical but not a triton...if u wanna look at something a lil bit cheaper than triton but I think actually think rides as good is the 23 hydra sports... It's a heavy boat like the triton with a great ride.

W figures them waves are every bit as tall as him. When you're 4' tall.....it's hard to judge distance.

Should of been in the ship channel fri with is..... It was rocking!!! Went air born a few times..... We cut across the lake in good 2ft with 3fters....55mph..... No problem...could of drank a glass of wine.....different story when we hit channel

Yea, great riding boat. I just can't understand why guys on this forum go so crazy over a haynie after riding in one. It's a nice boat. But it's a simple concept. Not much technology involved. Horsepower to weight ratio. Havnie is a lightweight, low freeboard, single wall roll gunnel, low deadrise, 21ft boat that will take a 225hp outboard. It is not incredible for it to go 68mph. I just don't get it.

I've ridden or driven in 21-24 foot ranger, whaler, triton, pathfinder, blackjack, champion, yellowfin, kenner, nautic star, blue wave, haynie, and several others.
really the haynie is second to only the YF imo

i'd like to see all of them race across the gulf and see which one falls apart first

you never rode in one to know.........Just got my out of the shop last week and the owner of the shop said...The Hayine is the only boat that he has never had one person complain about or say one thing bad.... And since Chris Left Sulfur he is getting a lot of them in.

When you can drive 55mph across two and three foot chop and not get wet...You will talk...

What you are saying about your boat is just a lie, the guys at Regulator and Contender can not say this about any of there Offshore boats (55 mph two and three foot chop) Tell me why the guys at Haynie said this was not true.
