Anyone seen this bait before?

Having trouble finding these worms. When I was little, it seemed like if we weren't catching bass, bream, and goggleeye on beetle spins, we were catching on these. Found these in pawpaws tackle box today, figured maybe someone had seen them before. Always thought it was a zoom worm, but he said it was a local brand?

That sounds right. Found some worm keeper hooks that were Mr twister. They still make them.

Looks like the old "Creme" brand worms. Think there was a local company that also made one similar, maybe cajun something. My grandpa owned a baitshop and i worked there as a kid, sold hundreds of those worms. (Tequila sunrise, motor-oil, red shad, etc...)those worms and bettlespins caught more bass than any other baits.

Damn, you don't know any where that still carries them do you? It wasn't H & H was it? I know they make the "Cajun spins"......

Toledo Tackle also used to make them. I think the still have them at Toledo Town.

It might have also been made by "Cajun" lure mfg, which was made in Lake Charles. Another possibility is an old "Toledo Tackle" worm.

Mister twister purple with white tail. Still have some my dad has a ton of them. He found them somewhere & bought all they had several years ago.

My grandpaw loves using these worms....we would tear up the bass and goggle eye on them. I like the black with the blue tail.

Definitely the Mr twister, I even remember him having some of the other colors as well, motor oil was one of them.

My grandpa has to have thousands of those. When we cleaned out their house so they can downsize earlier this year I was swimming in those things.

Wish I had them like that.....used to catch some good bass and bluegill on those dudes...gonna have to put my hands on some.

On a side note, apparently everyone's grandpa / PawPaw has the same taste in baits.....lol

if they are old and local they are probably H&H worms. I don't think they're made any more.

My Grandpa use to work at Wilsons in the sporting goods department, then when they shut down he worked at a local sporting goods store. I don't remember the name, but I remember it had a squirrel in the store. He had all kinds of un opened fishing tackle.

I took some of he "Junked" made in Sweden Abu Garcia reels they are older than me and cleaned them up, they are perfect for the wife and I found myself using one hitting school trout in Grand Isle. His good reels are still on poles, but the poles really need to be replaced, the reels are fine.

He was mostly a Bass Fishermen, but had some Saltwater gems in the boxes, I just organized them, trashed the unusable, you know the melted blobs, and must have had enough to fill a 8X10 shed with fishing gear when I was done, that was an improvement from filling an entire garage.

H&H Lures made hook tail worm - I still find the around town at smaller shops
Like worm due to durable I use one all day for
pesky little wing wong bass in spillway.

Creme lures made some , Toledo Tackle Lures made some, it was a common worm back then.
