I was on the lake Wednesday crabbing, its a good thing they caught fish early because by 10am the white caps started to roll.

well at kenner launch there was a steady ENE wind with the start of small white caps and I had to slow roll going in to avoid being soaked by busting waves, guess you were on the north shore

Tried the causeway today... the weather could not have been better, the water was however not right, it was dirty. Not one hit did I get over a two hour period. I fished the 12 mile mark, and then decided to hit the fish balls 3 miles East of there. First cast, 27" redfish... after that nothing.

Ended the day at Sea brook and tagged and release two 10" trout.

Never seen such a perfect day and not produce fish.

They are there. My buddy did pretty well yesterday but it does take a lot of patience. Its not uncommon to go 2 hours without a hit.
