I have eaten quite a bit of Javelina and it is fine....just like anything else that you shoot, it's all in how you handle it afer the kill.

When I hunted in Tilden, Texas at the first of the year we killed several Russian/feral hogs , but the Javelena there were used as fertilizer. I don't know, as a coon-azz I was willing to give it a try but they (my host) ,would allow no part of it. Do you have to remove the 'stank-glands ' or something?
