Default Prien Lake 5-16

Took off after church yesterday with my 7 year old son and my Dad to go do some fishing around the 210 bridge. Got on the water at around 2 PM and fished until about 4:30.

Didn't pick up any trout but the reds were as thick as thieves on the points to the northeast of the bridge. Most of them were undersized and a bit skinny but we did pick up a couple of keepers that are now in the freezer. Also picked up a couple of puppy drum. All caught on shrimp under popping cork.

Okay, so its not the most exciting report ever but I had to brag on my son. He did very well landing 2 little reds and a croaker. In a world where kids are spending waaaaay too much time in front of TVs, computers, and video games its nice to see one spending time outside and enjoying the outdoors!
