Smokin leeville 5/15-5/16

Got in the water at 8:30 due to I couldnt wake up to drive . Water high and wind howlin. Tried a few regular holes till 12 or so. Couldnt catch a decent trout all mornin all small or gaftop. Made a move all the way down south towards fouchon and found some clean water still within open area. Wife started haulin in some solid trout on chartreause shrimp.Bite was on for 30 minutes until gaftop fell and stuck her in the foot..............drama........bite stops wifes bleedin and I grew a hate for gaftop more then ever due to the fact I got stuck in the hand not 15 minutes before. So wrapped it up and marked new area on gps.Went back next afternoon due to high tide and got in em again. Water was really high sunday and specks were all around boat in 2 ft water. Good trip for windy weather and didnt get a chance to island hop but caught over 30 specks lost a bunch too. Cant wait to go again. Caught 3 whities all weekend weird they not gangin up in bays right now.
