![]() A beautiful sunrise in the Dularge marsh on Saturday. Redfish were on the agenda for Jim Larrison and crew. Jim has been fishing with me for 10 yrs or more and he loves to catch trout. His wife Sherilyn joined us along with his son in law Jimbo Bullen and wife Kim & their son Josh. I really appreciate him going forward with the trip although he knew we would most likely be fishing for reds instead of the yellowmouths. We got started around 6:00 am working the ponds in the deep Dularge marsh. Found some good fish early as the bite fell off later in the morning. Worked hard for the catch as we finished up around 1:45 pm with 22 nice reds. White spinner baits, LSU chubs and gold spoons did the trick! The ponds are beautiful and the grass is scattered making for easy fishing in most locations. I had a great time with Jim and the crew. Good luck fishing. Capt Bill Lake 985-851-6015 985-637-3712 |
