Default Duck Season

Does anyone want to speculate on duck season? They have an opening in a lease in Hopedale that I have been trying to get in for years and the dues are due the end of July. It really makes me wonder why they have a opening. Think I might look for a place up north instead.

well last duck season sucked for everyone for the most parts so you'll prolly see alot of opening due to fed up hunters spending a bunch of money on leases and not killing much. last year was just a bad year overall

Man that would suck if they would close the season this year. Tt would not suprise me....
However, if I had a great spot, I would suck it up and pay for one year even if the season would be closed due to the spill. Usually, once you give up a lease (especailly a good one) you will likely not be able to get it back.

I think I would have a heart attack if they closed duck season b/c of spill, or go to jail!

I bet yall did. When I would go to my deer lease in Texas, right around Beaumont, I saw some fields everytime I passed that you couldn't have fit another duck in.

We had a decent year. It wasn't great but wasn't bad either. Bout 600
