Specksindasurf, Virtuoso and myself headed down to Hackberry for a fri afternoon and sat morning trip. Friday afternoon we were fishing for about 6. Only caught 5 specks and fished till dark.

This morning we got up at the butt crack of dawn and launched at Ellenders. Ran all the way to the south shore. We were fishing for 5:45. Picked up 4 trout on topwater and 1 on a cork and gulp. Made a move.(which I wish I would have done sooner) Started throwing topwater and they were blowing them up. B/w the 3 of us we prob had 50 blowups this morning. Caught 14 specks all on topwater from about 7am-11:30am. I wish I would have been there at 5:45am. We had to get back early and decided to call it quits around 12pm. Ended up with 19 nice trout, 24 b/w fri afternoon and this morning.
