A tropical wave currently moving through the northwest caribbean sea will enter the southern gulf by tomorrow. This feature will cause increasing winds and seas over the coastal waters mid week.
Mariners should continue to monitor the latest forecast if planning travel into the gulf of mexico next week. This tropical disturbance has a 30 percent or medium chance of becoming a tropical depression over the next 48 hours. Showers and thunderstorms will be likely over the coastal waters through the end of the week.
