Default little luck on 7-23-10

First I must say gottogo came over to my house and helped me fix my Minn Kotta. The ribbon kinked and my motor would not turn off last week!!! Went out Friday morning and stopped on the east bank and caught one red on plastic and nothing on top water. Decided to get some live bait and went through grand and saw the same two guide boats that are always there. They werent catching a whole lot. I went to the cement wall and caught a crabs but they were small. Caught a few shrimp that went into live well. Went to Lambert and tried for some bait and the finger mullet was loaded up in there. No fish though and no crabs. Tried for flounder and had little(one nice flounder) luck on way out. Flounder has slowed back there but u still can catch a few. Stopped at Grand and caught a few crabs which was small and slow. The reds were bighting up against the wall of the wier. Only the outlaws which was two of them got next to the wall and was catching a few that was 18" range. Watched a few people hit the weirs LOL and left. Headed to old jetties and the washout area with no luck at all on live bait. O well, I will catch up on my meat haul when the birds hit the lake in Sept. The water did start looking good as the day went on. The tide is moving good in the afternoon for now!!!
