charging system. the bike kills when you pull the positive off the battery.. aint it supposed to stay runnin?

Don't think any of the newer motors run without a battery.

thats what i thought but im no mechanic. couple of my buddies said it should stay runnin. they said the stator and voltage regulator should keep it going

Voltage regulator keeps it charged while running. Kinda like an alternator on a truck. Starter is self-explainitory
