Default 8/27 Beach Report

I think today is the last day to fish the beach, water was cloudy when I got there at 8:45 am. Hit the Top Secret spot and picked up some small trouts on the ends of the rocks on opening night sand eels. Switched to bubble gum deadly dudleys and started hammering the trout but had to only fish the west ends of the rocks to catch. Me and my buddy from Urange ended the day wit 26, plenty fishin but not many catchin.

I only know of 1 oversized "Turqoise" camp on that strip.....;-) So I'm taking it you photshopped that in there to throw people off the secret spot! Nice haul. Did better than we did

Good catch. Few of them look long and skinny. All of the ones
we caught had empty stomachs.
I see you brought the net. I didn't, that won't happen again.

Ray, you should have been slinging those trout up on the rocks.

I was waiting on a big wave to come in so I could get the fish up closer to me before netting them. It is kind of tricky to be sure to keep the line away from any rocks while netting a fish.

The sheephead and black drum I caught were trying to go under the rocks when they got close.

I was slinging them up, but they came off the hook before I could grab them.
They fell into the holes in the rocks and said bye bye...

I just wish I would have climbed up there earlier! We used to get up there last year and wear them out when we couldnt get a bite in the surf.

That's water in the can, I can only hope that's what everyone that has stolen them from me thinks!
