FlagUS Dularge Reds & Trout!

Dularge Redfish/Trout Action

A great day to be on the water yesterday 'DOWN IN DULARGE'! I fished with Willie Champagne & Gene Ordoyne who were hoping to find some fish for their tail-gateing Saints party tonight. We started off looking for trout in a couple areas and found nothing at all. We hit paydirt at our 3rd location and filled the box to the top. We caught well over 100 fish and the guys kept their 50 fish limit. LSU chubs did all the damage. We caught 10 reds on the way back to the dock on the chubs making for a very good day of 'catching'! I'm finding the trout are starting their northward migration as the fish are stacking up on the reefs and feeding heavy on shrimp. October should be a great month for us in regards to trout fishing as we're slowly trying to get back to our normal routine. Don't be afraid to book trips for the fall/winter season as the waters are clean and the fish are safe to eat. We offer everything you need for a fun trip including knowlegeable captains with up to 5 boats running daily, comfortable lodging accommodations, catered meals upon request, fish cleaning and affordable pricing. Just bring yourself and come on down to the DU! Good luck fishing.

Have a couple buddies that are guides in Venice, I've listened to some of their horror stories with some of their clients Some people do know how to fish & others DONT!!!!!! He wanted me to help him take up some of his slack on the weekends, after listening to some of their stories, HELL NO!!!! Some of the clients would have walked back!!!!!

I was wondering the same thing, usually its a bayou chub being fished over there, but that looks a lil different, unless bayou chub is making a different chub now. Looks good though
