			You can get up to a 2hp single phase 110v motor for pools an spa's but there 3450 rpms you would have to sheave it down quite a bit for lower rpms...the water well motors I've worked with on 110 will work a lot harder an pull anywhere from 15-22 amps 220 would make it last longer and start up easier, less load for the starter capaciter an gov points...
