Stayed close and the water was beautiful. I put in out of Inracoastal City and I didn't try for trout but I am going back this morning and may try after me and a buddy hopefully each catch our five reds.

Took a few family members to marsh island this morning, mostly joy riding. Caught 2 reds,a flounder and a crab all on a baby minus 1 crankbait. Water was awesome in the cove and hammock area, did not fish it though. It wont be long before the trout start up in the bay.

Well I report the good and the bad and today I skunked. One day your a hero and the next you are a zero is my quote for today. I had the same conditions but couldn't get a red to bite. It was also hot as hell today out there with very little wind.

It can happen to the best of us. It was the opposite for us..very windy crossing the bay could not fish where I wanted to. Coming back across the bay around noon was alot calmer.
