motor trouble....help!

i have a old evinrude thats starting to give me problems. it runs but when i push the throtle to go it wants to die. it will idle and go slow but as soon as i go to take off fast it wants to kill. i was wondering if anyone could help me out on this?

any help if great, thanks!
