Default Offshore this weekend

Anyone else headed out?
We are leaving from cocodrie around 8 sat morning for an overnighter to green canyon.

Seas seem to be getting less and less every forcast. Right now calling for 1-2s

Of course that's what they said last time I went out with dink and quackhead and them haha

I may be heading out of Fourchon on Sun for some snapper. Blue water was around 30 miles out of Belle Pass last weekend.

I still don't enjoy bottom fishing. Drop a bait down 200 feet . hook a fish crank fish up 200 feet . Bait up and do it again.
Trolling is a hoot and free lining for tuna is do bomb!
If ya think ya can handle fighting a BIG tuna?
Had someone ask me what it was like reeling in a 100 lb + tuna . I told him , Get your heavy bass tackle and tie the end of the line to your sons go kart. Let him take off and you try to reel him in.
He Said ,There ain't no way i'm reeling in that go kart.
Exactly, catching a BIG tuna is just like trying to reel in that go kart. The first one to run out of gas loses!

Eman, you know I'm kinda weird, right?...Pulling almost 250 crawfish traps a day is fun... This sounds like a blast!!!
