Default Thinking Yellowfin

I keep seeing pics of the huge yf on 2 cool and considering making a trip towards venice or grand isle. I have heard the horror story of the last trip but looking for someone that might wanna buddy boat in a few weeks. Not certain but something I would love to do possibly within the next month. I just have a single so want someone there for security. Looking at ripcharts the floaters appear to be 50 to 60 miles. Just throwing it out there. Weather permitting of course

That's what is being caught!

I've been reading reports and 100lb+ seem pretty common with some over 200 mixed in.

I was looking at ripcharts and it looks like the lump is bout 25 miles from the mouth and then Medusa(where Ray works) is only 15 to 20 miles from there. Hitting both of those on an overnighter would be my desired gameplan.
