Last Island fish the points wading or in a boat, rocks in the middle, close in rigs, water moving into or out of marsh

Natural Lite Kid, Fish last island...work between the rock openings. Do not be afraid to throw top water when fishing that area. You may want to run to the pickets or Mardi Gras rig if the tide is not too strong or too weak. Try double rig bayou chubs in the LSU and glow with chart. tail. Are you leaving from Cocodrie or Jugs landing?? I was thinking of going tomorrow but rain chances are high. One last thing is you are not using the LIVE STUFF better stay aways from the ones that are.

we are staying at coco marina. i'm going with a buddy from laplace that fishes there quite a bit. he said they've been catching on topwater early in the morning. i do not, and will not own any "lsu" colored baits, however, i do have some purple with the chartreuse tail . i have heard and seen a lot of the "bayou chub" here lately. are you having more luck with those that a regular H&H cocahoe?

I have never really used the H&H brand. I am sure if the fish are on it does not really matter. Tomorrow shows to have 12-15 south to southwest winds. Good luck. Try using Tusmani Swim baits in Purple Haze or Glow color.
